  Moderate price modern french cuisine. Nothing fancy about the food, however very good value for the price point. Decour is very modern and BYOB is awesome.

  I googled a BYOB this weekend and L'Academie came up. I looked through their menu and pictures and the food looked great. The website sold me and the restaurant delivered. Food was good, I had the veal and a side of fries and the almond cake for dessert which was excellent. It was my first time here and I'm glad I clicked on your site. I'll definitely be back for more!

  Overpriced and undercooked food. Had to give few plates back for them to cook a bit more (salmon, stake, lamb). If you bring a cake for a birthday, they will charge your guests $2 for dessert. Pasta is the best choice but don't expect it to be al dente.

  You will see bad and good reviews of this restaurant. The fact is in Laval you'll be hard pressed to find a better restaurant. The quality of service and food varies from time to time. A bit overpriced. For that price, you'll find better restaurants but you'll have to cross the river to Montreal. Otherwise it's OK...

  Went to eat during the weekend, nice to see a restaurant packed and booming. Food was great, eat the rack of lamb and it was cooked to perfection. Staff was really friendly and nice. Our waiter was so sweet, he took his time to explain and help us with our questions. Will be going again to dine that's for sure!
